In 45, 60, or 75 minutes, I can balance
your skin and offer a sense of rejuvenation.
45 minute facials ($45) include
cleansing, exfoliation, scalp massage,
masking, and an arm and hand massage.
60 minute facials ($60) include
cleansing, exfoliation, hair oiling,
masking, marma point therapy*, head
and arm and hand massage. Foot massage
upon request and time allowance.
75 minute facials ($75) offer
a holistic facial that treats the
skin in the above mentioned manner,
with an additional 15-20 minute
foot treatment, a balancing treatment
using a foot bowl. The bowl is comprised
of three different metals (brass,
copper, and silver) which corresponds
and settles the three doshas throughout
the body. I conclude the foot treatment
with marma point therapy on the
feet.
*Marma point therapy is an ancient
Ayurvedic healing technique that
has a reputation of instant and
miraculous healing. It takes a lifetime
to master. I offer what I know,
sending love from my finger tips
to tender points on the body where "consciousness
meets matter" (John
Douillard). I
stay at each point until I feel
a pulse. The effect is that most
people fall into a deep relaxed
state, like in savasana at the end
of yoga practice.
**If time permits at the end of any
facial, I like to step out of the
room and let the client integrate
the energry work and aromatherapy
from the treatment and stay in the
blissfull state. It's my little
pleasure to get to gently wake up
a sleeping client.
