Lee as Ayurvedic Esthetician
I attempted to redefine what skincare could be, by calling what I do "Ayurvedic
Beauty Therapy." I've trained with practitioners at the Ayurvedic
Institute down in New Mexico, Dr. Nita Desai and John Douillard here in
Boulder, as well as the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda and
Longs Peak Academy.
Skin care boils down to wrinkles and zits. But in Ayurvedic Beauty Therapy
it is about nourishment, health, and radiance that goes beyond vanity. Melanie
Sachs, an ayurvedic practioner and author says it best:
"The secret aspect of beauty refers to the energy, insight, and
inspiration it takes to balance the inner and the outer. Developing
this special quality takes time, patience and a willingness to
learn from experience. This is the mark of real maturity that
ripens into deep lasting beauty that is experienced from within
and seen by all." |

Lee as Postpartum Doula
My role as a postpartum doula is to support a resting period for the mother
after the arrival of the baby. I massage her, cook nourishing meals for
her, and support her through her transition into motherhood. My primary
care-giving responsibilities are geared toward taking care of the mother
so she can best take care of her family in the immediate postpartum and
in the long run of parenthood.
I know first hand what it is like to bring a little person into our world.
The support from tender understanding folks is of the utmost importance.
Please call so we can discuss this program for you or your family and friends.
This is an amazing gift for a Shower or Blessingway.
